NiftyX is a DIY trading terminal software. You set the rules, you pull the trigger, you keep control. The questions below cover what that means in practice.
NiftyX is a software tool for order execution. You connect your own broker account using your own API credentials and place trades through the terminal — nothing more, nothing less. You set the rules. You place every trade.
The Watch / Target / Breach (W/T/B) features are user-configured conditional exits: you decide the trigger price, the terminal monitors broker LTP, and an exit order goes out when your condition is met. Same idea as a broker GTT or a manual stop-loss.
Yes — NiftyX is currently in free beta. There is no charge to register, connect your broker, or use any feature.
If a paid software subscription is introduced later, existing users will be notified well in advance and pricing will be announced before any charge.
Zerodha is live. You connect your own Kite Connect account and place orders through your own API key — NiftyX never sees your broker password.
Dhan is in testing and will be enabled once integration is finished. The Dhan tab on the broker selector currently shows "Coming soon".
Additional brokers (Angel, Upstox, etc.) will be added based on user demand — reach out via the Contact page if you'd like a specific one.
No coding is required. The terminal is a regular web app you open in your browser.
You will need to do a one-time setup with your broker — create a Kite Connect app and paste in your API key + access token. The setup wizard walks you through this step by step. If you get stuck, basic setup help is free — email us via the Contact page and we'll guide you through it.
Your conditional exits keep running. The Watch / Target / Breach (W/T/B) monitor lives on the NiftyX server, not in your browser. When you close the tab or shut down your laptop, the server continues to watch broker LTP and will fire the exit order when your condition is met.
You can come back any time, sign in, and see the live state of your positions and triggers.
